NANS LAGOS, PSM NIG & YAN LAGOS PLANS STATE WIDE LOCKDOWN IF YOUTHS PURPOSEDLY SCHEMED OUT ARE NOT RETURNED

The leadership of NANS LAGOS, PSM NIG & YAN in a joint statement issued in Lagos state is irked by the garrulous, unethical and an aberration to principles and values that governs the last primaries of the All Progressives Congress (APC) which brought shame to the leadership of a supposedly ruling party.
In as much as we stands to be apolitical, we have developed interests in the political happenings in our local space and has encouraged youths across board to participate to give us a future we can align with.
We have our members across all political parties and we are saying and acting on this to warn other political parties not to frustrate the efforts of our members as they seek to serve their nation with their energy, brilliance and youthfulness.
Last week Saturday primaries was a scam as we witnessed all over the state; irregularities, violence, blackmail and errors that would spell doom for the land because when leaders know they are not accountable to anybody because they were never voted in you can’t demand metrics of good governance from them and this we won’t accept.

The story was the same all over the place but Somolu was bizarre as the present chairman popularly known as Dullar was hell bent on retaining power and did everything against his deputy; Bowale who had three other aspirants including the Secretary to the Local government stepped down for his candidacy. When you are not capable and people don’t want you, you leave the stage to develop your capacity to align your dreams along the wishes of the people.
Surulere was an eye sore as we saw how the lives of the youths didn’t matter to some elders yet they keep on parading us as the leaders of tomorrow. “TOMORROW INDEED!“, they have exclusively caged into their slavery bank – that tomorrow is a scam which we would dismantle with the rod of intellectualism, the touch of excellent leadership and the light of knowledge beamed on the errors of outdated leaders.
AREGBE IDRIS, a young cerebral, capable and committed party executive was the leading candidate as all delegates were already in high spirits to vote for him as their next candidate for the chairmanship slot but the exercise was marred by violence which resulted in the death of two young men with a bright future ahead of them. Surulere is surprisingly the home of the number four man and we are confused if a man can’t make his home peaceful how would he make the nation peaceful, we ask??
We won’t allow this to continue along all parties as we have made a conscious effort to stage a 500,000 student and youth peaceful match on Thursday, 3rd of June, that would comprise of numerous youths bodies in Lagos if this show of shame and scam called primaries is not cancelled and a free and fair one conducted.
Last, we are not afraid to face the future because our founding fathers let go their comfort for us to have a nation we can call ours today. We don’t start a battle we won’t finish.
Let youths be included!!!
Don’t scheme them out with violence because nobody has the monopoly of violence.
A word is enough for the wise
