DEXTEROUS EMPIRE: BREATH OF FRESHNESS IN THE THEATRE INDUSTRY.
The Nigerian entertainment industry has witnessed many innovations in the emergence of theatrical companies which has brought about a growth in the operations and acceptance of this sector. There is an emerging creative entertaining and educative theatre company which is bringing great innovative concepts into the sector; Dexterous Empire.
Dexterous Empire is a theater company that was founded in 2017 by a young and vibrant Thespian; Oluyale Aramide. F, a graduate of LAGOS STATE UNIVERSITY. This theatrical company comprises of the Artistic director, manager, choreographers, dancers, actors, songitoes, stagemanager, scriptwriter/content creator, media personal, stage designer, costumeir, makeup-artist, walfare director and propsman which engages in both stage and film performances, comprising of both (modern and traditional) pure dance and dance drama, at events, festivals, concerts, weddings, anniversaries and many more.
They have also organized theatrical events like (Dexterous Empire 1st Induction Ceremony, “The Genesis 2021”). They also engage in aerobics and zumba classes where they help people keep fit as their popular saying is “fitness is Key”. They execute this through home sessions and converging centers.
They also have an arm for children called “Children Theatre”. Here they train young talents from age five to fifteen, in different genres of dance and acting. This is executed through booked sessions and schools in which we create Theatre clubs. This as so far enable them to discover and grow young talents in the coming generations.
They are also into film productions and Theatre Academy where their ideas and scripts are converted into movies and in their academy they train people to become great professionals.
Dexterous Empire theater company has worked with Ministry of Tourism, Art and Culture Lagos state, Ministry of Home Affairs, Leap Africa (Sustainable development goals), Angola airplane launching, ARCH BRIDGE 10 years anniversary, Lagos State University Students’ Union Cultural Festival 2018, MTN Nigeria (mtn y’ello star season 1), Thespian Family Theatre, Deeolat Production, Afrinolly, House of Effect, Optimize Entertainment, Jumia, hope4D addicts, musical video shoots with Malaika, runtown, micon-pro, coded, Ujpro, official 9iza, EddyLanky, Wale Effect and many more. They have also participated in various life performances for dignitries like The Oniba of Iba land, Oba Jafo, The Iyaloja general of Nigeria, Folashade ojo Tinubu, His excellency Babatunde Sowolu and few others.
Dexterous Empire have also worked with various schools like Tinuola Private school, Corona Nursery and Primary school VI, Fit-charis private school, St.Thomas college and many more.
