Lagos State University Vice Chancellor, Prof. Olanrewaju Adigun Fagbohun, SAN, NPOM who doubles as a Crown Prince at Akesan Kingdom, Igando, Lagos State yesterday put smile on the faces on the aged and widowed people of Akesan Community.
The illustrious son of Akesan gave back to his community by distributing hampers loaded with relief materials most importantly food materials to the aged and widowed at the community to ease the burden of living in this era of Coronavirus pandemic.
Recall that the Lagos State Government has given orders for partial lockdown of the State hence making survival difficult for the needy and poor most especially the aged and widowed. The VC in his magnanimity decided to ease the burden of the people of his hometown by distributing relief package.
This act is society/humanity driven and very commendable. We appreciate our ever progressive leader and administrator for this purposeful action. The fight against the Coronavirus pandemic is a battle that can only be won by collective efforts of the General Public.
We enjoin the privileged to at this hard time to be compassionate and share resources with the less privileged to ease their hardship during this trying times. Posterity and history will forever be grateful to the nobles helping out the poor most importantly during this Coronavirus pamdemic.
